| Problem | Noise is generated when the pelletiser unit cuts the compounded plastic strands into pellets. High noise levels from pelletisers during the making of pallets. | ||
| Solution | An integrated operable enclosure top was designed with acoustic barriers for the inlet. In addition, side enclosure panels were also installed. The side panel was 1.2 mm steel outer sheet, 50 mm rockwool and 0.8 mm perforated sheet. | ||
